The Wind that Shakes the Barley

Traducida en Hispanoamérica como "El viento que acaricia el prado" es una película que se estrenó en el 2006 y que ganó la Palma de Oro, su nombre se corresponde con una balada cuya letra hace referencia a la rebelión de 1798, escrita por el poeta Robert Dwyer Joyce, y que puede escucharse en una de las escenas.

Fué escrita por Paul Laverty y dirigida por Ken Loach.

. Se trata de un drama bélico, la  historia gira en torno a dos hermanos, interpretados por  Cillian Murphy y Pádraic Delaney, en la época que corresponde a  la Guerra de Independencia Irlandesa (1919-1921) y la Guerra  Civil Irlandesa (1922-1923).

Emocionante, dura, imperdible.
